Poem #10 - "A turn of events"

QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

Changed the question to be question of the week, a new question every Sunday, which is on my three poems of the week!

What's your favorite poetry-blog?

I found this poem in my drawer a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like (based on my hand writing, damn it was terrible back then!) that it is about a couple of years old.
Today is my 10th poem posted on this blog! So hurray for me or something like that! I plan on posting A LOT more in the future, so keep on reading, commenting and being the awesome people you guys are! You really keep up my writing, and inspire me to continue unfolding my inner poet!

"A turn of events"

The time we laughed has discontinued.
I wont forget, when it all fell to pieces.
The river raged on for years, but the
waterfall of  kept it from running away
deep into the forest.
Cold and lonely the cliff stands alone
forgotten, hidden, buried.

The naked rock is hidden by layers of
hate and despair
School and education stands in our way
for our spiritual shamanistic dance.
We must feed the machine
keep it running on the tracks of the
deep, blue, cold and unforgiving ocean.

The time laughed has discontinued
I wont forget.

Poem #9 - "Freshly made coffee"

QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

Changed the question to be question of the week, a new question every Sunday, which is on my three poems of the week!

What's your favorite poetry-blog?

This piece was written today for the weekly prompt over at http://poetryblogroll.blogspot.com/, go check that site out!

Enjoy my poem!

"Freshly made coffee"

Sitting softly on you cushion
porcelain silence, teak-wood look.
You dust off old yearbooks
high-school sweetheart, engagement ring
The birds have flown away now
and you listen to the sound of
their birth slowing down
moment by moment

Dreams from the black and white suburban
childhood have gone away
meaningful work is done
laundry, dishes and loving your husband
check, check, check
nourishing thoughts I have from you

Warm ovens and the scent of freshly made coffee

You raised me
I raised you
And forever my navel will remind me
of Hungarian summer days
Swedish winter nights
Danish words and caring smiles.

Poem #3 - "Sometimes"

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

The startup of this blog is a bit slow, but what can you say, it's only the third post i make, so i'll just keep the former question as the main one untill it takes off!

Do you write poetry yourself? If yes, who are you inspired by?

This poem/song was written when i was in a band where i played the leadguitarist. I was the only one writing songs for the band, and i wrote songs almost daily, but this one went unfinished, and became a kind of poem. Enjoy!

"Sometimes"

Sometimes i just don't feel like living, this thing
Sometimes i just feel like killing, these things
Sometimes i really don't feel love anymore
Sometimes i feel that this is
A bore
A sore
A lore
No more.

Come with me on a trip of realization
Come with me to the nearest civilization

Sometimes i just feel like starting a riot
A riot that will start burning the liars
The liars that destroyed a being of me
Will someone please help me
Through insanity
Of me
Be me
Papi
Insanity
Of me

Stop.
